IRCTC Recruitment 2023: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has invited Applications from Retired and Experienced Officers Eligible for Re-engagement as Consultant (Tourism) Post with Posting in the Tourism Department Guwahati and Kolkata Cities vide the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy. The IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular has arisen for Engagement of Consultants with 02 Vacancies for a Short-Term Engagement of 06 Months. Based on the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Last Date for receipt of duly completed Applications from Eligible Persons is 21.07.2023.
According to the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, those who have retired as Senior Section Engineer (SSE) in Mechanical (C&W/ Workshop) or Electrical (Train Lighting/AC) Maintenance in Open Line/Workshop) may apply for IRCTC Consultant Posts on a Short-Term Contractual Term of 06 Months. Therefore, the Willing and Eligible Applicants may complete the Application Submission Process according to Specimen Proforma and the Instructions prescribed in the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice. Based on the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Monthly Salary Eligibility for the Persons selected as a Consultant (Tourism) is explained as hereunder:
Monthly Remuneration: The Appropriately Suitable Candidate Post-Selection as Consultant (Tourism) shall be compensated Monthly Remuneration as per the Extant IRCTC Policy.
Based on the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular, the Maximum Age Limit to be reckoned as on the Closing Date (21.07.2023) for receipt of the Application, is as follows:

Specific Requirement and Experience:
i) The Applicant should have retired from Railways.
ii) Should have Sound Knowledge and Experience of Yard Working Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) Rake Maintenance.
iii) Sound knowledge of Maintenance, Operational and Accident Rules & Policies of Indian Railways.
Preferences will be given to the Candidates with Work Experience on ER (Eastern Railway)/SER (South Eastern Railway) & NFR (North-East Frontier Railway), especially Howrah, Sealdah Division and Santragachi, as the Rakes are Headquartered at HWH/SDAH/SRC & GHY for better Local Coordination.
The Selection Process for Consultant (Tourism) Position shall involve Viva-voce. Selection on the Consultant (Tourism) Post will be carried out on the basis of Personal Interaction. The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Applications received.
