ISRO Recruitment 2023: Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow, Project Scientist-I, Research Scientist and Project Associate-I. There are the total of 34 vacancies for the above-mentioned posts. As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is up to 40 years. The post has 05 Regional Centres located in Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, Jodhpur and New Delhi. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per the official notification.
In accordance with the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, The place of posting will be Hyderabad. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the interview. Qualification and Experience for ISRO Recruitment 2023:
In accordance with the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are given below-
For postcode JRF 2-
ME / M.Tech in Remote Sensing/GIS/Remote Sensing & GIS/Geoinformatics/Geomatics /Geospatial Technology/Spatial Information Technology from a recognized University with B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering /Agriculture Engineering.
For Postcode RS09(Research Scientist)-
M.E / M.Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources/Hydrology/Irrigation Water Management from a recognized University with B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Agriculture Engineering.
For Postcode PA01(Project Associate-I)-
B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in Remote Sensing/GIS/Remote Sensing & GIS/Geo informatics / Geomatics / Geospatial Technology/Spatial Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable-
Knowledge in digital image analysis, digitization of vectors, thematic classification and preparation of geo-database.
Working Knowledge of ArcMap/QGIS/ERDAS.

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-
The selected candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will get a monthly stipend of Rs.31000, which can be increased to Rs.35000 after 02 years of successful completion and review of research work. The HRA will also be provided at prescribed rates in force at the place of posting, in case accommodation is not provided. Additionally, medical benefits will be allowed as per the rules of NRSC/ISRO. JRFs are eligible for casual leave and female JRFs can avail of maternity leave as per Govt. of India instructions. However, JRFs are not entitled to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular employees.
The selected candidates for the post of Research Scientist will get a salary on the Level 10 pay scale in the Pay Matrix as per VII CPC, along with Dearness Allowance and HRA at prescribed rates in force at the place of posting. The Research Scientists are eligible for medical benefits and leave entitlement as per the rules of NRSC/ISRO, including maternity leave for female Research Scientists as per Govt. of India instructions.
The selected candidates for the post of Project Associate-I should be paid Rs.31,000 per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation. In addition, the Project Associates are eligible for medical benefits and Leave entitlement as per the rules of NRSC/ISRO. Maternity leave as per Govt. of India instructions would be available to all female Project Associates. The candidates selected will not be entitled to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular employees. The above provisions are liable to change/revise from time to time as per Government policy.
Selection Process for ISRO Recruitment 2023:
As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, candidates should be selected on the basis of interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. In the event of a large number of applications being received for a particular post, NRSC may conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting the candidates. Final selection will be done only based on the marks obtained in the Interview.
According to the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023 notification, interested and eligible candidates can register online through the official website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
The last date to submit the online application is 07.04.2023. Received applications after the closing date should be rejected summarily.
