NISE Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) has released a notification regarding hiring candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA) on a contract basis. As per the NISE Recruitment 2023 official notification, there is only 01 vacancy. The selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extendable. As per the NISE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for this job post is 35 years. The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 47000.
The National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an Autonomous Institute of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India to function as an Apex National Centre for research and technology development and related activities in the areas of Solar Energy Technologies in the Country. NISE is located on a 200-acre campus at the Gurugram-Faridabad Road, Gwal-Pahari, Gurugram, Haryana. Candidates will be selected through a personal interview. As per the NISE Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested and eligible candidates have to attend the walk-in Interview with all relevant documents on 14.04.2023.

Candidates should have Ph.D. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics /Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical / Renewable Energy/ Computer Science Engineering/ Atmospheric Science, or a related field. Or M.Tech in Engineering (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics /Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical / Renewable Energy/ Computer science/Atmospheric Science), or a related field with at least three years of experience in a relevant field (mentioned in the job requirement). Experience in solar data analysis will be preferred. Those who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. Selection in such cases will be subject to the condition that PhD viva-voce is done & declared qualified for the award of PhD/awarded PhD degree before the expiry of the validity of the award offer. The candidate applying for RA must have at least one research publication in a standard refereed journal as listed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R or Python. Candidates must have working experience with GIS-based mapping tools and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
Candidates having Certification in data science and machine learning, Understanding of solar potential assessment and forecasting. Implement data science solutions that may involve machine learning or data science techniques. Knowledge of statistical approaches, incl. advanced machine learning techniques.
As per the NISE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extendable for 03 more years.
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 47000.
