IT Department raids Googee Properties and Anvita Builders in Telangana for Tax Evasion

The Income Tax Department searched the corporate offices of Googee Properties and Developers and Anvita Builders early Thursday morning for alleged tax evasion.

Raids were also conducted on the homes of the companies’ managing directors and directors in Kollur, Rayadurgam, Jubilee Hills, and Sangareddy.

The searches involved approximately 30 teams of Income Tax officials. According to sources, the companies are being examined for possible tax evasion during the last two financial years.

According to agency sources, the companies’ foreign growth is being scrutinized, with officials analyzing transactions and tax filings for any potential violations.

Congress leader Akbar Shaik owns Googee Properties and Developers, which ran in the 2014 Assembly Elections from the Malakpet Assembly Constituency.
