IT Dept. enabled functionality for filing of rectification request in respect of orders passed by CsIT (Appeals)

The Income Tax Department has enabled functionality for filing of rectification request in respect of orders passed by CsIT (Appeals).

Rectification of mistakes visible on the face of the record in such decision, order, notice, or certificate can be done by the authority who passed such decision/order/notice, etc. on his/her own motion or if such error is brought to its attention by a tax official or by the affected individual.
