Karnataka UGCET 2023: Modification Window Open, Check Details, Exam Pattern
Karnataka UGCET 2023: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the modification window for the Karnataka UGCET-2023, popularly known as KCET 2023. According to the official notification, the KEA has allowed CBSE/CISCE/IGCSE students who have registered for the UGCET 2023 but did not complete the declaration until now can modify their registration form. The official notification was released on 29th March 2023. Students can modify the necessary changes in their registration module from 11 am on 31st March 2023 to 6 pm on 3rd April.
Karnataka UGCET or KCET 2023 will be conducted for admission into various undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy, Agricultural, and Pharmacy courses across various colleges and universities in Karnataka. The registration process for the Karnataka UGCET 2023 commenced on 2nd March 2023. The last date to apply for the same is 5th April 2023. Students will be able to submit their online application fee up to 7th April 2023. The application fee for the Karnataka UGCET 2023 is Rs 500 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/Women candidates. The admit card will be available on the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on 5th May 2023. The Karnataka UGCET 2023 will be held on the 20th and 21st of May 2023.
It is important to note that the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will notify the dates for the online correction once the application window will close. Candidates will be permitted to change certain fields in their application form during this time. Currently, the KEA has allowed students from CBSE/CISCE/IGCSE board to modify the necessary changes. Only students from the above-mentioned boards who have not completed their declaration until now can change their necessary registration details.
Karnataka UGCET or KCET is a state-level examination held once every year to admit students to various courses. Due to strict competition, students must know about the exam pattern in advance so that they can prepare accordingly. The exam will take place in offline mode (pen and paper-based exam). The duration of the exam will be of 80 minutes. The exam will consist of a total of 180 questions. The questions will be objective in nature (multiple-choice questions). The question paper will consist of three sections- physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Each section will have 60 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. There is no negative marking. So students should try to attempt all the questions.
