An important change regarding the submission of the tax audit report has been made. Now, the penalty for late submission will be named as a late fee rather than a penalty. This means taxpayers cannot simply upload a belated Tax Audit Report without first paying the applicable late fee.
Earlier, the taxpayers could file a late Tax Audit Report, but now they will need to pay the late fees before submitting it. This will ensure timely compliance and reduce delay.
Late submission of Tax Audit Report penalty will be named as Late Fees.
