Madhya Pradesh Govt mandated the use of E-Way Bills for 41 goods, including apparel & clothing
The E-Way Bill has been mandated by the Madhya Pradesh government for 41 commodities, including apparel and clothing accessories.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-rule (14) of Rule 138 of the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rule, 2017, the Commissioner of State Tax Madhya Pradesh, in consultation with the Chief Commissioner of Central Tax Madhya Pradesh, amended this Department’s notification No. F-A-3-08-2018-1-V(43), Bhopal, dated 24th April, 2018, wherein 41 goods were inserted for the purpose of providing E-Way Bill.
Previously, only 11 commodities were required to use the E-Way Bill; however, this number has recently been increased to 41.
Articles of apparel and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted/CHAP not knitted or crocheted, Motor Vehicles and Accessories, Rubber and articles thereof are among the goods covered by the E-Way Bill. All types of scrap, ferrous and non-ferrous, all types of utensils, cement and cement products, all forms of stone, including marble and granite, copper, bruss, and its products Fireworks, Explimine, and Non-Alcoholic Beverage All kinds of crockery, all kinds of comics and talliet, all kinds of plastics and their parts Ropes, Sanitary Goods, Pesticides, Coal, Bitumen, Diesel, Dry Fruits, Kirana Goods, Oil Seeds, Paints and Putty, Molasses resulting from sugar extraction or refining, Betel Nut Product, Mouth Freshener, Mineral water and aerated water, Chocolate, and other types of packaging.
