MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023: Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) has invited Applications from both Open and Departmental Candidates for Junior Officer (Security) Post (Post Code HR01). There are 29 Vacancies inclusive of 14 Posts reserved for Open Category Candidates to be filled up under Pay Grade III (Rs. 37340-1675-45715-1740-63115-1830-103375) as mentioned in the MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
There are 05 Vacancies including 04 Posts for Junior Officer (Security) Departmental “Watchman” Candidates (15%). Both Freshers and Departmental Candidates Eligible for the Post of Junior Officer (Security) may apply. As per the official notification of MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023, The Last Date for the Intending Candidates is 17th February 2023 (17.02.2023).

According to MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023, after appointment as Junior Officer (Security), the Candidates shall be entitled to the Salary under Pay Grade III mentioned here in above.
The Interested Eligible Un-Reserved Category Candidates (as on 17.02.2023) should be Maximum 38 Years.
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates shall be applicable as per the Government Norms prescribed in the MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued for the purpose.
Based on the MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Applicant Candidate for Junior Officer (Security) should have the following Eligibility including Educational Qualification and Knowledge.
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Duly Recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi is Essential.
Selection for Junior Officer (Security) shall consist of 03 Stages. The 03 Stages are 01) Online Test; 02) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and 03) Psychometric Test (PMT).
Note: The Candidates working in Government/ Semi-Government Undertaking will have to produce No Objection Certificate issued by their Employer(s) at the time of Document Submission.
A) The Physical Efficiency Test shall be held for the Candidates comprising 04 Events are as follows:
i) Running 800 Meters
ii) To carry weight on Shoulder for a distance of 60 Meters
iii) To climb and to get down on rope of specific height by using Hands only (Without using Legs/Feet)
iv) Sit-ups or Pull ups.
B) The Physical Efficiency Test with relaxations for Departmental “Security Guard/Watchman” will include the following Events:
i) Running 800 Meters
ii) To carry weight on Shoulder for a distance of 60 Meters
iii) To climb and to get down on rope of specific height by using Hands only (Without using Legs/Feet)
iv) Sit-ups or Pull ups.
The Candidate shall have to pay the Application Fee applicable to the respective Category and Community explained hereunder:

I) Open Category: Rs.500 Plus GST
II) Reserved Community: Rs.300 Plus GST
