MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023: Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd. has released a Recruitment 2023 advertisement inviting applications for the post of General Manager (F&A). The company has stated that the number of vacancies and reservation is provisional and may change. Candidates who had applied earlier for the same post in response to Advt. No. 08/2019 and hard copies of the same were received as per the advertisement clause need not reapply. As per MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the last date for submission of the application is 10.04.2023.
The required qualification for the post is CA/ICWA final passed, and the candidate must have ten years of relevant post-qualification experience in Finance/Accounts/Audit, out of which three years should be in a post of responsibility, i.e., Sr. Manager (F&A) and above. The experience is considered post-qualification experience, i.e., experience acquired by the candidate after possessing the essential qualification prescribed for the post. The age limit for the post is 53 years (48 years+5 years age relaxation for the backward class category), and for Mahagenco Employees, it is 57 years. As per MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates will get an additional 02 years of age relaxation (except for Mahagenco Employees.) The age, education, and experience as of 10.04.2023 will be considered for the application.

As per MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the education qualification required for the post of General Manager (F&A) under Post Code FA01 is CA/ ICWA final passed. The candidate must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
The candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts, and Audit. Out of the total experience, the candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a post of responsibility, i.e. Sr. Manager (F&A) and above. The experience means Post Qualification experience, i.e. experience acquired by the candidate after possessing the essential qualification prescribed for the post.
As per MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, General Manager (F&A) post has a pay grade of I and a salary range of Rs. 105035-4610-215675. This indicates that the initial basic pay for General Manager (F&A) post is Rs. 105,035, which can increase up to Rs. 215,675 based on performance and experience.
As per MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for General Manager (F&A) position is 53 years. However, there is an age relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to the backward class category, which makes the maximum age limit 58 years for such candidates. It is important to note that age relaxation is only applicable for candidates belonging to the backward class category.

A fee of Rs. 600 + 108/- (GST) is applicable for reserved category candidates for the FA01 General Manager (F&A) post.
