Name of Post and Number of Vacancies for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the selection for the given position will be made for two separate departments/institutions, such as the Department Of Science and Technology and the Waste Management and Public Health Department. The total number of vacancies to be filled is fourteen (14) available for eleven (11) different positions. Details are given below:

Eligibility for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

Per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be hired for the given positions based on experience and qualifications as mentioned in the details below.

In the Department Of Science and Technology and Waste Management

For Scientific Officer

A candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution with five years of experience in a relevant field. Or, he/she must have Master’s Degree in Science in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or equivalent with three years of experience in the relevant field. Knowledge of Konkani is required for the post.

For Technical Officer

An applicant must consist a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Information Technology/ Electronic /Electrical/ Telecommunication or five years of experience in a relevant field. Or, he/she must consist a Master’s Degree in Engineering in Information Technology/ Electronic /Electrical/Telecommunication with three years of experience in the relevant field. Knowledge of Konkani is a must.

In Public Health Department (Goa Medical College)

For Assistant Professor (Medical Gastroenterology/Endocrinology/Cardiac Anaesthesiology)

A candidate must have a Post graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India) recognized medical college/institution with at least one-year teaching or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine/Master of Chirurgiae.

For Lecturer in Medicine

The candidates must have a Post-graduate medical qualification in the specialty concerned or equivalent with at least 3 years of teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani is a must.

For Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy in Allied Health Science Courses

A candidate must hold Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master of Science in Occupational Therapy/ Master of Occupational Therapy / Master in Occupational Therapy) from a recognized University. He/she should have five years of teaching experience in the concerned specialty with Knowledge of Konkani.

For Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy in Allied Health Science courses

A candidate must hold Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master of Science in Occupational Therapy/ Master of Occupational Therapy / Master in Occupational Therapy) from a recognized University. He/she should have three years of teaching experience in the concerned specialty with Knowledge of Konkani.

For Assistant Professor in Geriatrics Medicine

A candidate must have a Postgraduate degree concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India). He/she should have at least three years of experience as a lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani is required.

In Public Health Department (Goa Dental College And Hospital)

For Lecture (Oral Medicine and Radiology/Oral Pathology and Microbiology)

A candidate must have a Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry or a Master’s degree in Dental Surgery in the concerned specialty/subject from a recognized institution that should be registered with Dental Council. Knowledge of Konkani is a must.

Age limit for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the above position is 45 years.

Pay Scale for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the above positions will be paid monthly remuneration based on pay matrix levels 10 and 11. The pay scale Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/- will be payable on matrix level 10 and Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/- on matrix level 11.
