Mangalore Port Authority Recruitment 2023: Mangalore Port Authority is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Medical Officer on a contract basis. As per the Mangalore Port Authority Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 02 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 02 years which can be extendable later.

As per the Mangalore Port Authority Recruitment 2023 notification, Candidates should have MBBS Degree from a recognized university. Candidates should have a minimum One year of experience in a Hospital after the completion of Internship of one year. Medical Officers retired from Government/ Public/Private Sectors can also apply. Candidates having a Post Graduate Medical Degree/ PG Diploma from a Recognized University/AFIH Course will be given preference.
Selected candidates for the post of medical officer will get monthly salary of Rs. 60000. Selected candidates shall be entitled to free medical treatment in the New Mangalore Port Authority Hospital for themselves and their dependents to the extent of the facilities are available in-house. Selected candidates will be permitted to occupy the Port Quarters if he/she opts for the same. The accommodation class allotted to him/her shall be commensurate with the post held by him/her subject to the availability of vacant quarters. However, proportionate deductions will be made from the monthly consolidated salary payable to him/her at government rates.
As per the Mangalore Port Authority Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates above the age of 65 years are not eligible to apply for this job post.
Candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 02 years which can be extended 01 more year as per requirement. Selected candidates shall report to the Chief Medical Officer, New Mangalore Port Authority, and work in accordance with the instructions and directions of Chief Medical Officer. The working hours will be decided by the Chief Medical Officer. Candidates have to leave the place of duty only after the reliever Doctor reports and takes over the charge from him/her.
