Government has given another 15 days time to directors to comply with DIR-3 KYC requirements by paying reduced fee of Rs 500. This Facility if available till 5th October 2018. MCA issued two Notification yesterday in order to give affect of these amendments.

G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred under second proviso to sub-section (1), sub-section (4), sub-section (6) of section 149, sub-section (3)and (4) of section 150, section 151, sub-section (5) of section 152, section 153, section 154, section 157, section 160, sub-section (1) of section 168 of and section 170 read with section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014, namely:
1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Sixth Amendment Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014,
(i) in the proviso to rule 12A, for the words and figures “before 15thSeptember, 2018,” the words and figures “before 5th October, 2018” shall be substituted.

G.S.R. ……(E).-ln exercise of the powers conferred by sections 396,398,399, 403 and 404 read with sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 469 of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014, namely:-
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
“Note: During the financial year (2018-2019), fee of rupees five hundred shall be payable from 21.09.2018 to 05.10.2018 and fee of rupees five thousand shall be payable on or after 06.10.2018”.
