MCA further Extends Due date of filing Form 11 by LLPs

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) notified further relaxation in additional fees in case of delay in filing Form 11(Annual Return) by LLPs till 15th July 2022 vide Circular No. 07 /2022 dated 29th June 2022.

LLP Form 11 is the Annual Return of a Limited Liability Partnership. The return must be electronically filed annually with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in order to maintain compliance and avoid fines. The LLP annual return must be filed electronically and recorded.

A request for an extension of the deadlines for filing the Annual Return (Form 11) by LLPs without incurring additional costs was made to this Ministry.

In order to encourage compliance on the part of LLPs and prepare for the change from version-2 of MCA-21 to version-3, it was decided to extend the deadline for filing e-Form 11 (Annual Return of Limited Liability Partnership) for the Financial Year 2021–2022 without incurring any additional fees until June 30, 2022.

Now, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs further extends the existing date up to 15 days more, i.e. 15th July 2022.

The Circular is Given Below:

In continuation of MCA General Circular no. 04/2022 dated 27.5.2022 on the captioned subject, it has been decided to further extend the timeline and allow LLPs to file e-Form 11 (Annual Return) for the Financial Year 2021-2022 without paying additional fees up to 15th July, 2022.
