MCA Notified Appointment of New Member to CA, CS, CMA Appellate Authority for Professional Misconduct The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has notified the appointment of Mr. Sushil Kumar(ex-civil servant) as the member of Appellate Authority for Professional Misconduct under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 and Company Secretaries Act 1980 via issuing Notification. The Notification has provided, "In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949), section 22A of the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 (23 of 1959) and section 22A of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (56 of 1980), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 835(E), dated the 3rd November, 2015, namely: In the said notification, for serial number (3), and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely - “(3) Shri Sushil Kumar, IAS (Retd.), - Member”.
