Ministry of Culture Recruitment 2023 for 12 Consultant Positions, Applicants May Apply Till Jan 23
Ministry of Culture Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has sought Applications from Experienced Retired Officers for filling up Consultant Posts in different disciplines in the National Monuments Authority. There are 12 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointments of Consultants in different segmented Service Divisions.
Amongst the Candidates Eligible for the Consultants’ Positions for consideration for Engagement as Consultant in the National Monuments Authority may apply in compliance with the Instructions prescribed in the Ministry of Culture Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Applicants may apply with Applications in the Prescribed Specimen Format. Willing Candidates should apply through Email by indicating the Post Name and Service Department as “Application for the Post of Consultant (Department Name)”. The Last Date for Eligible Candidates for completing the Application Submission Formalities is 23rd January 2023 (23.01.2023).

The Applicants should not exceed the Maximum Age Limit as is explained hereunder:
i) i to iii Consultant Posts: Maximum Age 63 Years.
ii) iv-viii Consultant Posts: Maximum Age 50 Years.
The Applicants should carefully read the Ministry of Culture Recruitment 2023 Advertisement in reference to the Eligibility Criteria including Educational Qualifications combined with the Post-Qualification Experience specific to the Opted Consultant Positions:
01) Consultant (Administration):
i) Retired Government Official in Level 7 to Level 11 or equivalent at the time of Superannuation.
ii) 05 years or more Experience in Routine Office Work, Administration, Establishment, and Service Matters including Pay Fixation, etc.
iii) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
02) Consultant (NOC):
i) Retired Government Official in Level 7 to Level 11 or Equivalent at the time of Superannuation, etc.
ii) 05 years or more Experience in Routine Office Work, Administration, Planning, and Legal Work.
iii) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
03) Consultant (Private Secretary):
i) Retired Government Official in Level 7 to Level 11 or Equivalent at the time of Superannuation.
ii) Shorthand speed of 100 W.P.M.
iii) Typewriting Speed of 40 W.P.M. in English.
Experience: i) Should have provided Secretarial Assistance to Officers having held the Post(s) Director and above.
ii) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
04) Consultant (System Analyst):
Essential Qualification: B.Tech/B.Engg./B.Sc.(Engg.) (Electronics & Communication/Computers/Information Technology) Or Master of Science (IT) Or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers Or Master of Computer Applications from any Accredited University/Institution.
Desirable Qualification: 02 years Experience in DOTNET/ DOTPHP/Database SQL/SQL Programming/C++/JAVA.
Experience: Having Knowledge of Information and Computer Technology.
05) Consultant (Conservation Architect):
Educational Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent in Architecture from any Accredited University/Institution and having Field Experience of Conservation Practices.
Experience:
i) Minimum 3 years of Working Experience on Historic Buildings and Sites.
ii) Experience in preparing Site Management Plans for Heritage Sites and Monuments.
iii) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
06) Consultant (Archaeologist):
Educational Qualifications: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent in Ancient Indian History and Culture/Archaeology from any Accredited University/Institution.
Experience:
i) Minimum 03-Years’ Experience in preparing Site Management Plans for Heritage SitSitesd Monuments.
ii) Experience of Documentation and Condition Assessment of Historic Buildings.
iii) Knowledge of Conservation of Historic Building and Materials and Techniques.
07) Consultant (Legal):
Educational Qualifications:
i) Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)/Master of Legal Laws ( LL.M.) Degree from any Accredited University/National Institute.
ii) Enrolled with any State Bar Council to practice as an Advocate.
Experience:
i) Minimum 3 years of Experience in handling Court cases in the Tribunal or High Court/Supreme Court.
ii) Minimum 01-Year Experience in Government Offices in dealing with Writ Petitions/Public Interest Litigations (PILs) and other Court cases.
iii) Conversant with Heritage Laws in India: All Central and State Acts, Rules, Bye-laws, Notification and Citations especially AMASR Act 1958 (Amendment and Validation 2010).
iv) Knowledge of operating of MS Office and other Computer Applications.
v) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
08) Consultant (Accounts):
Educational Qualifications: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounts/Management.
i) Minimum 3 years Experience in the field of Finance, budgeting and Accounts in any Government Office.
ii) Knowledge about Management of the Financial Records of the Establishment including the processing of Vendors’ Bills and Salary Payment to the Officials/Employees, etc.
iii) Attended Internal and External Audits of Accounts.
iv) Knowledge of Public Financial Management Systems.
v) Knowledge of E-Office and MS Office.
Post-Selection the Candidates would remain entitled to the following Consolidated Monthly Remuneration:
Posts 01-03: As per Department of Expenditure. Office Memorandum. Dated the 9th December 2020 Dated 09.12.2020
Posts 04-08: As per Experience, Minimum Rs. 50000 to Maximum 70000
Experience-Based Remuneration* (As on 23.01.2023)
i) Rs. 00 up to 03 Years: Rs.50000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) Per Month
ii) 03 up to 05 Years: Rs.60000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand only) Per Month
iii) 05 up to 10 Years: Rs.65000 (Rupees Sixty-Five Thousand only) Per Month
iv) More than 10 Years: Rs.70000 (Rupees Seventy Thousand only) Per Month
Terms and Conditions of Appointment are governed as per the Procedure and Guidelines for Engagement of Consultants in the National Monuments Authority under the Ministry of Culture.
Post-Selection the Candidates would be issued Appointments in he Consolidated Monthly Remuneration as indicated hereinabove.
