As may be read the Ministry of Defence Recruitment Notification 2023, the Post General Manager & Chairman shall be filled up under the Pay Scale Level 14 in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.

Upper Age Limit under Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

The Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation Not to Exceed 54 Years (As on the Closing Date of receipt of Applications).

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential as per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Advertisement for the Applicants are as follows:

A) Educational Qualifications: Eligibility Criteria [For Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract)].

The Officers of the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Armed Forces:

A-1) Holding Analogous Post on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; Or

ii) With 02-Years’ Service in the Grade rendered post Appointment thereto on a Regular basis in the Post(s) in the Pay Scale Level-13A (Rs.131100-216600) or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or

iii) With 03-Years’ Service in the Grade rendered Post-Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Post(s) in the Pay Scale Level-13 (Rs 118500-214100) or Equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department; and

B) Having in possession the following Educational Qualifications and Experience:

1) Bachelor’s/Graduation Degree Plus Master of Business Administration/Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Accredited University/ Equivalent Institute.

2) 20-Years’ Work Experience in Administration or Operations.

Selection Process for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued Post-Selection Appointment of the Officer shall be On Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) for 03-Years. The Deputation Tenure including period of Deputation in another Ex-Cadre post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall be 03-Years, which could be extended to up to 05-Years based on the Incumbent’s Performance.
