Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023: The Office of Deputy Director General (DDG), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Statistical Division), New Delhi has sought from the Candidates Competent Candidates with Eligibility for 03 Posts; 1) Consultant (Environmental Accounts and Economics), 2) Consultant (Statistical Analyst) and 3) Consultant (Sustainable Development) on Contractual Basis notified in the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement Dated 18th February 2023 (18.02.2023).
According to the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Notification, 03 Vacancies are inclusive of 01 Vacancy for each Post with Engagement Initially for 01 Year and subsequently up to 03/05 Years on Year-to-Year Basis.
On the basis of the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued for the purpose, the Willing Candidates with the Prescribed Eligibility may complete the Application Submission Process within 21 Days post-issuance/publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News.

Engagement Duration: Contractual Basis; Initially for 12 Months

As per the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Notification, Monthly Remunerations for the Posts notified therein and are also mentioned hereunder:
01) Consultant (Environmental Accounts and Economics): Rs.80000 (Consolidated) Per Month
02) Consultant (Statistical Analyst): Rs.80000 (Consolidated) Per Month
03) Consultant (Sustainable Development): Rs.1.00 Lac (Consolidated) Per Month
According to the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Age Limit prescribed therein for all 03 Posts (as on 01.01.2023) and also is mentioned hereunder:
Age Limit: 40 Years/45 Years
According to the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Notification Eligibility Criteria specific to the Posts have been explained in Detail:
Educational Qualification and Other Criteria: The Candidate Applicant to the Post must have a Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in the Relevant Subjects.
Preferential: Preference shall be given to the Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D) Holders in the relevant Post/Subject-related field.
Experience: Minimum 05/10 Years’ Experience in the Post-related Field.
Essential Skills:
i) Good Writing Skills and the Ability to explain Technical Terms in a non-technical Language in English;
ii) Excellent Communication, Analytical, Drafting and Reporting Skills in English.
Selection on all 03 Consultant Posts shall be carried through Viva-voce/Interview as has been notified in the Ministry of Environment Recruitment 2023 Notification. Shortlisted Candidates will be called in to appear for Personal Interview.
Engagement Tenure: Post Selection, Individuals appointed as Consultants, Initially for 01 Year. However, Engagement Tenure of the Incumbent Consultants may be extended up to Maximum 03 Years (1+1+1) subject to their individual Performance and the presence of the Professional in the Division being Highly Useful. Continuation of the Consultant beyond 03 (Three) Years for up to Additional 02 (Two) Years will be considered on case-to-case basis with the Approval of the Competent Authority.
