Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023: The Competent Authority Cell, Ministry of Finance (MoF) has invited Applications from the Officers for Appointment on Competent Authority and Administrator (CAA) Post in the Department of Revenue (DoR) SAFEMA (Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act 1976) and NDPSA (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985), b Department of Revenue (DoR), Ministry of Finance (MoF) vide Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 Office Memorandum Dated 08.05.2023. Based on the Ministry of Finance Employment Notice, Duly Completed Applications in respect of the Central Government Officers in the Prescribed Specimen Proforma should be submitted through Proper Channel.

Designation: Competent Authority & Administrator (Group ‘A’ Gazetted)
Pay Scale: Pay Scale Level 14 (Rs.144200-218200)
The Eligibility, in accordance with the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 Office Memorandum for Competent Authority and Administrator Post may be read as hereunder:
Eligibility :
I) SAFEMA {Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act 1976}: Officers of the Central Government Not Below the Rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India; And
II) NDPSA (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985): Any Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of Central Excise or Commissioner of Income-Tax Or Any Other Officer of the Central Government of Equivalent Rank)
As has been notified in the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection for Competent Authority & Administrator shall be carried through Viva-voce/Personal Interaction. The Officer selected as Competent Authority and Administrator will be issued an Appointment on Deputation for 05 Years.
