Ministry of Railway Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Railway is inviting applications from the outstanding sportsperson for the post of Senior Clerk, Technician Gr. III and Junior Clerk. The selected candidate will get a monthly salary on pay level-2 and 5. As per the Ministry of Railway Recruitment notification, there are 10 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed in Integral Coach Factory against Sports Quota for the year 2022-2023.
The minimum age limit for these posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Candidates will be selected on a trial and interview basis. Interested and eligible candidates should send their duly filled application to the address mentioned below. The application received after the last date will be summarily REJECTED. The last date for accepting offline applications is 07.02.2023.
As per the Ministry of Railway Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 02 vacancies for the post of Senior Clerk and 08 vacancies for the Technician Gr. III and Junior Clerk.
Senior Clerk
Candidates applying for the post of Senior Clerk should have a degree from a recognized university.
Junior clerk
Candidates applying for the post of junior clerk should have completed his/her 12th or its equivalent examination.
Technician Grade III
The candidates applying for the post of Technician Grade III should have a 10th Std pass, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be 3 years unless they possess ITI qualification in the relevant engineering trades, in which case it will be 6 months.
Candidates selected as Senior Clerk/Junior Clerk are required to acquire proficiency in Typewriting of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi within a period of FOUR years from the date of appointment, else his/her appointment will be treated as provisional till such time that he/she passes the typing test.
The minimum age required for applying for these posts is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. The candidates should be born between 02.07.1998 to 01.07.2005.
Selected candidates for the post of Senior Clerk will get a monthly salary on Pay level 5.
The selected candidates for the post of Technician Gr. III and Junior Clerk will get monthly salary on pay level-2.
Applicants have to pay Rs. 500 as an application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes have to pay Rs. 250 as an application fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
Candidates who do not fill the sports quota eligibility criteria will be selected on the basis of Trial and Interview. Selected candidates will be called for document verification.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned below must send their duly filled application to the address mentioned below. Candidates should superscribe “APPLICATION FOR SPORTS RECRUITMENT (OPEN ADVERTISEMENT)” 2022-23 on the envelope carrying the application and the relevant documents.
