Deputy Commissioner

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a Recognised University or equivalent.

Desirable

• Candidate should have a doctorate Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Candidate should have experience in the preparation of briefs, and memoranda for conferences/seminars / meetings.

Assistant Commissioner

• Candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognised University or equivalent in one of the following subjects:

1. Agriculture
2. Forestry
3. Horticulture
   Or

• Applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a Recognised University or equivalent.

Eligibility for Ministry of Rural Development Recruitment 2023:

The required eligibility requirements are mentioned below in accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Rural Development Recruitment 2023:

Deputy Commissioner

Officers under the Central/ State Governments/Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Government/ Statutory or Autonomous Organisations/recognized research institutions research institutions or Councils/Agricultural Universities;-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs 10000-15200 (pre-revised), or equivalent in the parent cadre/ Department.

Assistant Commissioner

Officers under the Central/ State Governments/Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous or Statutory Organisation;-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis. OR
• With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Rs 8000-13500 (pre-revised), or equivalent in the 2 parent cadre/ Department. OR
• With eight years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Rs 6500-10500 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ Department.

Experience for Ministry of Rural Development Recruitment 2023:

The experience required for the above-mentioned position is given below.

Deputy Commissioner

• Candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in a supervisory capacity of planning and implementation of Agriculture/Forestry/Wastelands Development/ Watershed Development/Rural Development programmes.

Assistant Commissioner

• Candidate should have at least 05 years of experience in a supervisory capacity of formulation and processing including collection/ compilation/ analysis of data in respect of Agriculture/ Forestry/ Wastelands Development/ Watershed Development/ Rural Development Programmes.

Salary for Ministry of Rural Development Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Rural Development Recruitment 2023, the applicant will get a monthly salary between Rs.67700 to Rs. 209200
