According to the official notification of the Ministry of Steel Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s age requirement is that he or she be at least 45 years old but no older than 55 years old as of the application deadline.

As informed by the official notification of the Ministry of Steel Recruitment 2023, the Director of the Institute shall be appointed by the Board for a period of 05 years (one year probation period + 4 years) at a time. Such Director shall be eligible for reappointment for one or more terms of 03 years each at a time to be decided by the Board upto the maximum age of 65 years.
Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Steel Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly scale of pay of Rs. 120000 to Rs. 280000.
