NABI Recruitment 2023: Pay Level 13, Check Post, Eligibility and How to Apply

NABI Recruitment 2023: The National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) has invited Applications from Candidates both Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for filling up the Scientist E Positions on a Direct Recruitment Basis. There are 02 Vacancies to be filled up with the Selection of Scientist E Posts.

As per the NABI Recruitment 2023 notification, the Individuals having in possession of Outstanding Research Records and Enthusiasm to extend Support to National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute offering a World-Class Research Environment and Active Partnership with the Public and Private Sectors.

The Applicant(s) who have Excellent Academic Credentials and Proven Track Record(s) of Scientific Productivity as evidenced by the Publications/ Patents/ Products in the Specific Research Area (Metabolomics/Computational Biology including “Big Data” Analysis, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.

Age Limit for NABI Recruitment 2023:

As per the NABI Recruitment 2023 notification, the Maximum Age in respect of the General Merit Candidates is not exceeding 50 Years.

Relaxation for Reserved Community Candidates is applicable as per the Central Government Norms.

No Age Relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/OBC Candidates applying for Un-Reserved (UR) Vacancies (General/UR Category).

The Upper Age Limit shall not be applicable to the existing Employees of the Institute/any Employee of the Department of Biotechnology.

Note: The Date for determining the Age Limit/Research Experience/Qualification shall be 30 Days from the Date of publication.

Eligibility for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Essential Qualification: The Eligible Candidate should have gained Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in any Branch of Life Sciences/Agricultural Biotechnology/Food and Nutrition Sciences/Food Technology, Or Equivalent with the Desirable Experience explained hereunder.

Experience: Equivalent Educational Qualification with 08 Years of Experience

Education: Medicinae Doctor/Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) with the Following Desirable Experience.

Experience: 10 Years of Experience

Educational Qualification: Master of Engineering (M.Engg)/Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Agri-Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Chemical Technology/Food Technology/Food Sciences and Nutrition; Or

Educational Qualification and Experience: Equivalent [M.Engg/M.Tech. with 10 Years of Experience.

Pay Level under NABI Recruitment 2023:

Pay Level 13

Subsequent to Selection on to Scientist E Post, the Candidates shall be entitled to the Salary in the Pay Matrix of Pay Scale Level 13.

Screening-cum-Selection Procedure for NABI Recruitment 2023:

As per the NABI Recruitment 2023 Notification, The Screening-cum-Selection Process for the “Scientist E” Post notified vide NABI Recruitment Selection will be based on the Candidate’s Performance during the Interview along with any Additional Procedure adopted by the Screening/Selection Committee.

The Consideration of Qualifications as ‘Equivalent’ to the Essential and/or Desirable Qualifications stated vide the NABI Recruitment 2023 shall be the sole discretion of the Screening/Selection Committee.

Final Selection for Scientist E Post shall be carried through in order of Merit determined resulting from the Outcome of the Interview.

Application Fee for NABI Recruitment 2023:

According to NABI Recruitment 2023, the Application Fee Category-wise and Gender-wise payable by the Candidates is as follows:

Application Fee Remittance Online through ‘SBI Collect’. Take the Application’s Printout, as the Payment Receipt (with the Successful Transaction only) to be uploaded with the Online Application Format.

For Payment Remittance in USD, Inland Bank Charges and Foreign Bank Charges shall be borne by the Candidate.

I) Un-Reserved Candidates: Rs.590 (inclusive of GST)

II) Woman Candidates: Rs.354* (including GST)

III) Un-Reserved Candidates from abroad with OCI Status USD 30 (Equivalent to INR 2310)

IV) Women Candidates from abroad with OCI Status USD 20 (Equivalent to INR 1540)

Eligible Candidates should apply Online. The Online Link is available as on the Date of the publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News.

Note:

i) The Last Date for the Candidate’s Online Application annexed with Self-attested Documents receivable is 20th February 2023 (20.02.2023)

Hard Copy of Online Applications receivable in NABI Office Before or On 7th March 2023 (07.03.2023).

ii) Last Date for receipt of the Online Application is 20th February 2023 (20.03.2023) in respect of the Candidates residing Abroad and from Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Island, States/Union Territories in the North-Eastern Region, Ladakh Region of Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Subdivision Chamba and Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh.

However, the Last Date for the Hard Copies of the Online Applications with Uploaded Documents and 02 Passport Size Photographs in regards to such Candidates, receivable is Before or On 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023 for the above-mentioned Geographic Locations to the Following Address:
