NCCS Recruitment 2023: The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant. As mentioned in the official notification of NCCS Recruitment 2023, there are 03 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The educational qualification is different for each post (mentioned below in the article). The candidates should have relevant experience in their appropriate field. The candidates selected for the mentioned position will get a monthly pay scale of Rs.20000 to 35000 + HRA. The candidates applying for the post of Senior Research Fellow should be not more than 32 years. The candidates applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow should be not more than 28 years. The candidates applying for the post of Project Assistant should be not more than 50 years.
According to the official notification of NCCS Recruitment 2023, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of the interview selection procedure conducted by the committee. Selected candidates will have to join duty within 01 month of the receipt of the offer of the appointment. Qualification Required according to the posts is as mentioned below:
Senior Research Fellow:
The candidates should have Post Graduation degree in Basic Science or a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following and should have 02 years of research experience.
Junior Research Fellow:
The candidates should have Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
Project Assistant:
The candidates should have B.Sc./ 03 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology.

Experience Required according to the posts is as mentioned below:
Senior Research Fellow:
The candidates should have experience in cancer biology, cell biology, and molecular biology techniques, developing and handling mice for experiments and tumor tissues processing, knowledge of basic immunology, metabolic diseases, and enzymology is essential. Good working knowledge of flow cytometry and microscopic techniques is a must.
Junior Research Fellow:
The candidate must have experience of at least 01-02 years in Basic Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques like PCR, handling Cell lines, Cloning, RNAi, Northern and Southern Blot, etc.
Project Assistant:
The candidate must have a strong background in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology techniques will be preferred. Candidates with prior experience in C. elegans genetics and cell biology will be given preference.
