NEET-PG 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has decided to re-organise the NEET-PG 2024 examination on 23rd June 2024 (9 AM to 12:30 PM) via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam is set to be organised in more than 1000 test centres and in approximately 300 test cities.

The authority, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued the NEET-PG 2024 “Batch-Wise” admit card. Admit cards were released yesterday, June 18, 2024. The applicants of NEET PG 2024 this year were earlier advised to check their login accounts on the NEET-PG 2024 index page at NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in frequently for information about the admit cards. However, as per media reports the now NBEMS has released the NEET-PG 2024 Admit Card. 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has one more time released a “Caution Advisory for NEET-PG 2024 Applicants” and released the following guidelines for its applicants:

  • “NBEMS does not send any Email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks/merit positions in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS. Candidates are advised not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents /touts making such false and bogus claims.”
  • “NBEMS does not make any phone calls to any candidate or issues any communication regarding any unfair assistance during the exam in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS or for any other such thing which is against the provisions of law.”

Candidates are requested to be familiar with the location of the exam centre from the NEET-PG 2024 admit card, and reach the exam centres on time. Applicants must reach the exam centre on or before the reporting as will be mentioned on the NEET-PG 2024 admit card. The authority has said that “late entry to the examination premises is not permitted under any circumstances”. Meaning if a candidate reaches to the exam centre even one minute late as the timing mentioned in the admit card, then the authority will not be responsible for any delay in reaching the exam centres late due to any reason.

Candidates need to carry some mandatory documents while appearing in the NEET-PG 2024, candidates will not be provided with any shot of entry into the exam centres without the following documents.

  • Print out of NEET-PG 2024 Admit Card issued by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
  • A photo identification proof issued by the government of India in original & hard copy state.
  • Photocopy of Permanent/ Provisional SMC/MCI/NMC registration of MBBS qualification.

Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall along with the prohibited items mentioned in the Admit Card. The NEET-PG 2024 Admit Card mentions the whole list of items prohibited at the exam centres, go through the entire list thoroughly to prevent time wastage at the point of examination another reason is that many times papers are cancelled the candidate found with prohibited items at the exam hall.

If a candidate needs to carry any medicine or medical aid device to the exam centre, it is necessary to carry supporting medical documents. In the absence of such documents, the candidate will not be allowed to carry such a device.

If a PwD candidate requires the assistance of a scribe to write in the examination, in that case, he/she must get prior approval of NBEMS by submitting a query on the NBEMS communication web portal along with supporting documents as per the provisions of the RPwD Act, 2016. In the absence of prior approval of NBEMS, the candidate will not be allowed to take a scribe with him/her.

If at the exam centres any candidate is found with any restricted item, or adopting any unfair means/misconduct during NEET-PG 2024 will be considered a criminal and/or academic penalty in accordance with the applicable provisions & guidelines.
