As per NEPA Recruitment 2023 official notification, the method of selection for contractual positions includes a written test, trade test, skill test, and personal interview. The screening committee will decide which mode of selection is appropriate based on the discretion of the competent authority. The minimum qualifying marks for the personal interview are 50% for UR candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates against the reserved posts.
However, no relaxation in minimum qualifying marks shall apply for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates considered under UR category. The final selection of candidates shall be in the order of merit based on the marks scored by the candidates in the personal interview, subject to scoring the minimum qualifying marks prescribed, ensuring due reservation. If there is a higher response for a particular post, the management reserves the right to conduct a screening test. Finally, the selected candidate must undergo a medical examination by a registered Medical Officer and produce a medical certificate before joining the post.
