NIA Recruitment 2023: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), has invited Applications from Retired Police Officers/Officials with Applications Eligible for Contractual Engagement as Investigation Expert (Consultant) for Posting in Branch Office, Patna (Bihar) vide the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 27.03.2023. The NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates Retired Officers having held the Rank(s) of Inspectors, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP), Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) and Superintendent of Police (SP) or Equivalent Post Level under the Central Government and State Governments may apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma with the Mandatory Enclosures to be able to appear in the Interview Process.
Note: As per the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Walk-in-Interview for Engagement as Investigation Expert (Consultant) will be held on 14.04.2023. Therefore, those Eligible with Willingness may complete the Application Process and appear in the Interview Process.
According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the notified Post with 01 Vacancy on a Contractual Basis to be filled up is as follows:

Posting Situation: NIA Branch Office, Patna
Engagement Terms: 01 Year with a Provision of Extension Maximum up to 05 Years or until attaining 65 Years, whichever being Earlier.
According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Post-Selection, Appropriately Suitable Individual shall be paid the Monthly Remuneration explained hereunder:
Monthly Remuneration: Last Pay Drawn Minus Basic Pension = Monthly Remuneration

Age Limit: Not to exceed/Below 65 Years
According to the NIA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligibility for Investigation Expert (Consultant) Post involves the Essential Criteria comprising Educational Qualification, Ex-Officer Post Rank and Experience explained hereunder:
Eligibility: Retired Inspector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Superintendent of Police (SP) or Equivalent Rank/Level Officers under the Central Police Organization (CPO); i.e., Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Intelligence Bureau (IB), Cabinet Secretariat, the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), Customs Department, Income-Tax (IT), Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), etc., and the State Police.
Experience: Minimum 10 Years’ Experience of handling Criminal Investigation Cases or Intelligence Work or Counter Terrorism.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from the Accredited University.
Final Selection on the Investigating Expert (Consultant) Post shall be carried through by Viva-voce involving Certificate Verification. Appropriately Suitable Candidate post Selection shall be issued Appointment initially for 01 Year, which may be further extended for up to Maximum 05 Years.
