NITTTR Recruitment 2022: The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, has sought Applications from the Candidates meeting the Eligibility specific to the Posts; viz., Professor, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors on Contractual Basis. There are 14 Vacancies to be filled in reference to the NITTTR Recruitment Notification. The Last Date for receipt of duly completed Online Applications by the Candidates befalls 25th November 2022 (25.11.2022).
Application Mode: Intending Eligible Candidates should get their respective Applications forwarded through their Current Employer or furnish No-Objection Certificate at the time of Interview.
Selection Process: Selection to the Posts; Professor, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors shall be conducted on the basis the Selection Committee’s Recommendations and subsequently approved by the Board of Governors (BoGs).
Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for carrying out Testimonials/Document Verification/Interview.

Merit List Preparation Criteria with regards to the Candidates to be screened through Interview for Professor
i) Academic Background: 20% for B.Tech/UG, M.Tech/PG Qualification (To be verified and calculated from the Particulars/Records furnished by the Candidates)
ii) Research Performance and Quality of Publication: 40% (To be verified and calculated from the Particulars/Records furnished by the Candidates)
iii) Domain Knowledge and Teaching Ability (DK&TA): 20% (To be judged by Power-Point Presentation and Interaction with the Selection Committee Members.
iv) Interview Performance: 20% (To be Judged by the Selection Committee)
Service Terms: Post-Interview and Allied Screening Process, the Candidates will be offered Appointment duly governed by the NITTR Society Rules and Regulations.

1) Professor
Pay Matrix Level: Level 14 (Rs.144200 – Rs.211800) with Minimum Monthly Pay out Rs.144200
Educational Qualifications: a) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D) Degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Civil Engineering/Engineering/ Technology/Education/Management and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the Computer Science and Engineering Branch. And
b) Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, out of which at least 03 Years should be at a Post Equivalent to that of an Associate
Professor. And
c) Minimum 06 Research Publications at the level of Associate Professor in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journals/University Grants Commission (UGC)/All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Approved list of Journals and Minimum 02 Successful Ph.D Guided as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor till the Date of Eligibility for promotion; Or
Minimum 10 Research Publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI Journals/UGC/AICTE Approved List of Journals till the Date of Eligibility for Promotion.
2) Associate Professor
Pay Matrix Level: Level 13A1 (Rs.131400 – Rs.204700) with Minimum Monthly Pay out Rs.131400
a) Philosophiae Doctor/Doctor de Philosophiae (Ph.D) in Engineering/Technology/Management/Education/EE/ETE/CSE with BE/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering and ME/M.Tech in any branch of Engineering/Engineering Education with First Class or Equivalent either at Bachelor’s Or Master’s Level. And
b) Minimum Total 06 (Six) Research Publications in the SCI Journals/University Grants Commission (UGC)/All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved List of Journals And
c) Minimum 08 Years’ Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry out of which Minimum 02 Years shall be Post Ph.D Experience.
3) Assistant Professor
Pay Matrix Level: Level 10 (Rs.57700 – Rs.98200) with Minimum Monthly Pay out Rs.57700
The Candidates who have completed Direct Doctor de Philosophiae (Ph.D.) Post-acquired Bachelor’s Degree from the Institutes of the National Importance with the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)/ Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) shall be Eligible for the Post of Assistant Professor.
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Engg./B.Tech./B.S.in Civil Engineering) and Master’s Degree {M.E./ M.Tech./M.S./Integrated M.Tech./Business Administration/M.Tech.(HRD)} with First Class Or Equivalent and 02 Years’ Professional Experience Post-acquired Master’s Degree.
Desirable: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in the Relevant Discipline
Desirable Experience (Common for all the Branches):
Minimum 02 Years’ Teaching/Research/Industrial Experience in any Organization of Repute Post-acquired Master’s Degree.
i) Integration of Information Technology in the specific area of Specialization.
ii) Publications in the SCI Journals, Books, Patents Granted, Technical Reports, etc.
iii) Guided Project Works of PG Students/Research (Ph.D.) Scholars.
iv) Dealing with/Handling International/National Research Projects as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator.
v) Conduct of Training Programs/Seminars/Workshops for the Faculty/Staff/Professionals/Students
vi) Experience in Curriculum Design/Development/Revision.
vii) Development of Instructional Materials and Media.
