Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Northern Railway division of the Indian Railways is accepting online applications from Indian candidates for the post of Senior Technical Associate (STA) in the Civil, Electrical, and Signal & Telecom Department on a contract basis. In accordance with the official notification for Northern Railway Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be appointed for a period of 1 year or until the regular candidates join or till the project completion time, whichever is earlier. Eligible candidates should have done a four years Bachelor’s degree in the related engineering stream or a combination of any substream of basic streams from a recognized university/institute. As per Northern Railways Recruitment 2023 official notification, Northern Railway has released a total of 93 vacancies for the above-mentioned post for various categories. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100.
Based on the official notification for Northern Railway Recruitment 2023, the hired candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 32,000 to Rs 37,000, depending upon the city in which they are posted. The minimum age condition to apply for the available vacancies is 20 years while the upper age limit is 34 years. The age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and by 05 years for ST/SC candidates. Northern Railway will select suitable candidates for this job post by preparing a merit list based on the GATE score. For Electrical Department
Candidates must hold a four years bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering. OR A combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
For Civil Department
Candidates must hold a four years bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. OR A combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
For Signal & Telecom Department
Candidates must hold a four years bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering or M.Sc. Electronics. OR A combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Electrical / Electronics/ Information Technology/ Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
