NPSC Recruitment 2023: The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has published an advertisement for filling various current vacancies under the Government of Nagaland. The Commission has invited applications for the following vacancies: One post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class-I Gazetted) under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, two posts of Medical Officer (Class-I Gazetted) under the Health & Family Welfare Department, one post of Drug Inspector (Class II Gazetted) under Health & Family Welfare Department, one post of Pharmacist Grade II under Directorate of Prisons, and 21 posts of Staff Nurse (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Health & Family Welfare Department. As per NPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are a total of 79 vacancies for the above-mentioned posts. The Commission has mentioned the educational qualifications and elective subjects required for the above-mentioned vacancies.
For Items No. 1, 2, 3 & 4, candidates need to have a B.VSc & AH/B.VSc qualification, while for Item No. 5, candidates should have an MBBS degree from a recognized university. For Item No. 6, candidates should have a B.Pharm qualification, and for Item No. 7(a) & (b), a degree/diploma course in Pharmacy from a recognized university and registration in the State Pharmacy Council are required. For Item No. 8, GNM or BSc. Nursing or MSc. Nursing from any INC (Indian Nursing Council) recognized School with NNC (Nagaland Nursing Council registration) is required.
As per NPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the scale of pay for each item number along with the age limit, which is between 21 years to 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST. Age concession for serving Government employees will be allowed, the equal number of years they are in service subject to a maximum of five years. It is important to note that 80% of the vacancies are reserved for candidates belonging to (a) Any Naga Tribe (b) Kuki (c) Garo (d) Mikir (e) Kachari (f) Bodo (g) Adivasi (h) Sema (i) Sangtam and (j) Chang Tribes. Candidates must complete a One Time Registration (OTR), which will be available from noon on April 3, 2023, until noon on April 26, 2023.

As per NPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for the given posts is between 21 years and 30 years as of 01-01-2023. Candidates who are within this age limit are eligible to apply for these posts.
However, there are certain relaxations in the upper age limit for specific categories. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category can avail of a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. Moreover, serving government employees can also avail of an age concession equal to the number of years they have served, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

As per NPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, that application forms will not be issued from their office for the CTSE (Medical & Allied)-2023 exam. Instead, candidates must complete a Time Registration (OTR), which will be available from noon on April 3, 2023, until noon on April 26, 2023. Only eligible candidates may register. The OTR is mandatory for filling out the online application, which can be submitted through the NPSC, between noon on April 3, 2023, and noon on April 30, 2023.
Government employees who are eligible to appear for the CTSE (Medical & Allied)-2023 exam must upload a “No Objection Certificate” while submitting their online application. The OTR is free of cost, but candidates must pay an examination fee of Rs. 300/-, a convenience fee of Rs. 25/-, and payment gateway charges as applicable. Any complaints or issues must be settled on or before the last date of submission of the application form. After that date, no complaints will be entertained.
