Age Limit for NTPC Recruitment 2023

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy; i.e. 01.12.2023)

A) For Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy (i.e. 01.12.2023) in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) For Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy (i.e. 01.12.2023) in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the Post Director (Projects) is 01 (One) Year in regard to the Internal Personnel and as regards Others (External) is 02 (Two) Years As on 01.12.2023.

Essential Eligibility for NTPC Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualifications: i) The Applicant should have gained Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from any of the UGC/AICTE Accredited Universities/Institutions with a Good Academic Record

The Applicant holding a Full-Time MBA/PGDM Degree with Specialization would have an Added Advantage.

Desirable: The Applicant should have Minimum 05-Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure during the Last 10 Years in Project Planning/Execution/ Management at a Senior Level of Management in any large Organization of Repute.

Experience in the Construction/Commissioning of Projects in Power Sector is desirable in any Organisation of Repute.

Other Essential Eligibility:

A.1) The Applicant from the Central Government/All India Services should be holding a Post of the Level of a Joint Secretary in the Government of India or be carrying an Equivalent Pay Scale on the Closing Date of Online Application (21.02.2023).

2) The Applicant from the Armed Forces of the Union Government of India should be holding a Post of the Level of Major General in the Army or Equivalent Rank in the Indian Navy/Indian Air Force on the Last Date of Online Application.

B) The Applicant from the State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE)/Private Sector (PS) should be serving in the Board Level Position Or be holding a Minimum Post of the Level immediately down below the Board Level on the Online Application End Date.

Immediate Absorption of the Central Government Officers on the Post Director (Projects) mandates as the Central Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and the All India Services, are Eligible for consideration only on an Immediate Absorption Basis.
