Pay Scale under NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As has been notified in the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, Director (Projects) will be entitled to a Pay Scale Rs. 1.80 Lac to Rs, 3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA).

Pay Scale: Rs.1.80 Lac up to Rs.3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA)

Age Limits for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As may be read in the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates explained hereunder:

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on DOV 01.12.2023)

A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy) in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Vacancy Occurrence Date) in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the Post Director (Projects) is 01 (One) Year in regard to the Internal Personnel and as regards Others (External) is 02 (Two) Years As on 01.12.2023.

Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible Applicants should have following Essential Eligibility in reference to NTPC Recruitment 2023 Notification explained hereunder:

A.I) Educational Qualifications:

i) Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from any of the UGC/AICTE Accredited Universities/Institutions with a Good Academic Record.

ii) A Full-Time Magister Business Administratio/Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Post Graduate Diploma in Management Degree with Specialization would have an Added Advantage vide the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

II) Desired Experience:

i) The Applicant should have Minimum 05-Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure during the Past 10 Years in Project Planning/Execution/ Management at any Senior Level of Management in any large Esteemed Organization.

ii) Experience in the Construction/Commissioning of Projects in Power Sector is desirable in any Organisation of Repute.

B) Other Essential Eligibility Conditions for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

A.1) The Applicant from the Central Government/All India Services should be holding a Joint Secretary Post Level under the Government of India/ must be carrying an Equivalent Pay Scale on  21st February 2023 (21.02.2023) the Closing Date of Online Application .

2) The Applicant from the Armed Forces of the Union Government of India should be holding a Major General Level Post in the Army/Equivalent Rank in the Indian Navy/Indian Air Force on 21.02.2023, the Last Date of Online Application.

B) The Applicant from the State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE)/Private Sector (PS) should be serving in the Board Level Position/holding a Minimum Post of the Level immediately down below the Board Level on the End Date of the Online Application.

Immediate Absorption of the Central Government Officers on the Post Director (Projects) mandates as the Central Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and the All India Services, are Eligible for consideration only on an Immediate Absorption Basis to be read in the PESB released NTPC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Selection Process for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

Selection on to Director (Projects) Post shall be carried out through Interview for Appointment on the Director (Projects) Post mentioned in  the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Notification.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board, for Appointment on Director (Projects) Post, will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered their respective services in any of the Listed Companies notified through the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Tenure of the Incumbent as Director (Projects) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier as may also be read in the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Important Points for Applying for PESB issued NTPC Recruitment 2023:

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection on the Post of Director (Projects) may be spared for Appointment, should apply through “Proper Channel”.
