As per the official notification NTPC Recruitment 2023, NPTC Limited’s attachments department for the positions of Diploma Trainee ( Electrical, Mechanical, C and I(Electronics/Instrumentation and Civil) and Artisan Trainee  (Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Assistant Material/Store Keeper Trainee) for Bongaigaon Thermal Power Station, District Kokrajhar, Assam. There are a total number of 50 vacancies available for the mentioned position.

Age Limit and Relaxation NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the mentioned positions should be 38 years as of the last date of online application. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. It is relaxed by 10 years for PwBD-General/EWS, 13 years for PwBD-OBC and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates.

Qualification for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

For Diploma Trainee-

• For Electrical- Candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Electrical and Electrical and Electronics Engineering with passing marks.
• For Mechanical – Candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
• For C and I – Candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks
• For Civil – Candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

ITI Trainees / Asst Material/(Storekeeper) Trainees-

• For ITI Fitter – Candidate should be Xth Pass with full-time regular ITI course (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in Fitter trade.
• For ITI Electrician – Candidate should be Xth Pass with full-time regular ITI course (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in Electrician trade.
• For ITI Instrument Mechanic – Candidate should be Xth Pass with Full-time regular ITI course (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in Instrument Mechanic trade.
• For Asst Material /(Storekeeper) Trainee – Candidate should be NCTVT in storekeeping with English Typing 30 words per minute/150 keystrokes per minute. Desirable Qualification: Proficiency in Computer Operation and Familiarization with MS Office.

Salary for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification NTPC Recruitment 2023, the shortlisted candidates of Diploma Trainee will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 24000 per month and the candidates of Artisan Trainee/ Asst Material /Storekeeper Trainee will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 21500.

Tenure for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 02 years at any of the NTPC project’s EDC/ RLI.

The procedure of Selection for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates will be required to take a 02-stage online test (computer-based test). The first stage online test (Aptitude) will only be qualifying. The 2nd Stage Online Test (Technical) in the appropriate discipline will be held only for the applicants who passed the 1st Stage Online Test (Aptitude). The candidates are required to qualify both in the Technical Knowledge Test and the Aptitude Test. The appointment offer will be based on merit as decided by the second stage online test. No TA/DA will be paid to any applicant who takes the online test.
