A candidate should have a BDS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). Candidate should have a valid Registration Certificate under the “Dentist Act- 1948”. Provided that if a candidate outside the State of Odisha has not registered his name under the Odisha Dental Council as per the provision of section 34 of the Dentist Act, 1948, he shall get himself registered, before issuing of appointment order. Candidate should have Conversion Certificates recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) if the candidate has degrees from universities of foreign countries.
