OPSC Recruitment 2023: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Mining Officers in the rank of Group- A under the Steel and Mines Department. As per the OPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post should have crossed the age of 21 years and the maximum age limit for this job post is 38 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd May 1985 and not later than 1st May 2002. Provided that the upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxed by five (05) years for candidates belonging to the categories of Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C.), Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Women & Ex-Servicemen and by 10 (Ten) years for Persons with Disabilities whose permanent disability is 40% (forty percent) and more. Persons with Disabilities belonging to SEBC/ SC categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefits for upto fifteen (15) years.
As per the OPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 12 (Rs. 56100), Cell – 1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
As per the OPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be selected through a written Examination and Viva Voca Test. The written examination will consist of 02 papers with a total of 500 marks. The question in both papers will be of objective type of multiple-choice questions. There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer/response with a deduction of 25% of marks allotted to the particular question for both papers.
