OSSC Recruitment 2022 for 7540 Vacancies: Check Posts, Eligibility, Pay Levels and How to Apply

Odisha SSC Recruitment 2022: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible in reference to Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in different Streams and Physical Education Teachers against 7540 Vacancies under the Government Secondary Schools and the School of Mass Education (S&ME).

Among the Eligible Candidates, those who intend to apply for TGT and PET Stream Teaching Posts may apply Online. The Online Application/ Registration Process shall commence on 11th December 2022 with the Last Date for the Candidates to complete the Online Registration with the Application and Scanned Documents shall terminate on 9th January 2023 (09.01.2023).

The Online Application Process commences on 11th December 2022 (11.12.2022) with the Closing Date for the Online Process as 9th January 2023 (09.01.2023).

Selection Process: Selection into Trained Graduate Teachers in different Subjects and the Physical Education Teacher (PET) spans 03 Stages; viz., Stage 1 (Preliminary Examination) for 100 Marks; Stage 2: (Main Written Examination) for a Maximum of 150 Marks and Stage 3 Academic Qualification Certification Verification.  There is a Negative Marking ¼ (0.25) also.

04-Years’ B.A./B.Sc.-B.Ed Or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/B.Ed. from any of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Recognized Institutes.

Trained Graduate Teacher (Sanskrit)

Bachelor’s Degree (Sanskrit) with Minimum 50% Marks as one of the Elective/Optional/Honors/Pass Stream from any Duly Recognized University.

Shiksha Shastri from any of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Recognized Institutes. Or

Bachelor’s Degree (Sanskrit) with Minimum 50% Marks as one of the Elective/Optional/Honors/Pass Stream from any Duly Recognized University/Institution. And

Shiksha Shastri from any of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Recognized Universities/Institutes or B.Ed. from any of the National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institutes.

Desirable Qualifications:

The Candidate must

i) be able to read, write and speak Odia Dialect and

ii) have passed Middle School with Odia as a Language Subject or

iii) have passed High School Certificate (Matriculate) Examination with Odia as a Medium of Examination in Non-Language Subjects or

iv) have passed in Odia as a Language Subject in the Final Examination of Class VII from any School or Education Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha

v) have passed a Test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department (SMED).
