OSSC Recruitment 2022: Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has sought Applications from the Candidates Eligible in reference to the  Recruitment under Group ‘B’ Post Planning Assistant under the Director, Municipal Administration, Housing & Urban Development Department. There are 15 Vacancies including 08 Posts reserved for General Merit Candidates.

Odisha SSC issued Group ‘B’ Recruitment Notification in respect of Planning Assistant shall be filed against the Notified Post as mentioned in the OSSC Recruitment 2022.

Modality of Applying: Among the Eligible Persons, those who have met the Eligibility including the Essential Qualifications in possession with reference to Odisha SSC issued Advertisement for Recruitment for Group ‘B’ Post Planning Assistant, therefore are willing, should apply Online Applications as per the Instructions prescribed in the OSSC issued Recruitment Advertisement 2022.

15th December 2022 (15.12.2022) is the Closing Date for Candidates for Online Applications with uploading the Scanned Signatures, Photographs with the Certificate relating to Educational Qualifications among others.

Selection Process: Selection to all Group ‘B’ consists of 02 Stages; i.e., Main Written Examination followed by Document (Certification) Verification. The Main Written Test consisting of 02 Papers will carry Maximum 200 Marks.

Odisha Staff Selection Commission shall conduct the Main Written Examination for preparing Merit List. The Candidates on Merit as a result of the Announcement of the Result of the Main (Descriptive) would be subjected to Document Verification Process (DVP).

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2022): General Merit Candidates should be Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 38 Years. Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community-wise Candidates including Person(s) with Benchmark Disability (PwBDs) should be Minimum 18 Years. The Maximum Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates are Relaxable as per the Rule. The Age Relaxation for Ex-Service-Men Military Service Period Plus 03 Years.

Post-specific Eligibility including Age, Educational Qualification and Pay Levels

Group ‘B’ Post: Planning Assistant under Director, Municipal Administration Housing & Urban Development Department

Educational Qualification:  The Applicant must have in possession a Diploma in Architecture from any of the Institute duly recognized by the Government of India/State Government.

Also, He/She must have Practical Knowledge of GIS Applications with CADD or any other Drafting and Designing Computer Software and Basic Computer Knowledge.

The Candidate must

i) be able to read, write and speak Odia Dialect and

ii) have passed Middle School with Odia as a Language Subject or

iii) have passed High School Certificate (Matriculate) Examination with Odia as a Medium of Examination in Non-Language Subject or

iv) have passed in Odia as a Language Subject in the Final Examination of Class VII from any School or Education Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha

v) have passed a Test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department (SMED).
