PNB Recruitment 2022: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has invited Applications (Offline Mode) from the Candidates duly fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria for the Posts I) Fire Security Officer and II) Manager (Security). Such Candidates having met the Eligibility Criteria for the Post may apply in Offline Mode mentioned in PNB Notification 2022. The Last Date for receipt of the Applications together with Essential Testimonials for the Posts 1) Fire Security Officer in JMG Scale-I and II) Manager (Security) in MMG Scale-II under Fire Safety Officer and Security Manager Project 2022-23 in Punjab National Bank. Duly complete Applications accompanied by the Application Fee and Testimonials in all respects put into an Enveloped super-scribed as “Application for the Post of…………………………. in PNB” to be sent through Speed Post/Registered Post only is 30th August 2022 (30.08.2022).

Selection Procedure: The Selection Procedures under Fire Safety Officers and Security Managers Project 2022-23 for the Posts 1) Officer (Fire-Safety) & Manager (Security) comprises 02 Stages; i.e., 1) Shortlisting of the Applicants followed by Personal Interviews Or 2) Professional Knowledge Test in OMR Answer/Computer-Based (Online) Test Form followed by Personal Interviews. The OMR Response Sheet / Computer Based Test carries Maximum 100 Marks and Personal Interview weighing Maximum 50 Marks.

Examination Scheme and Syllabus:

The Online Computer Based Test for the Posts of Officer (Fire Safety) and Manager (Security) shall be held in a Single Paper termed as Professional Knowledge Test (PKT) with 60 Minutes’ Exam Duration comprising 50 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks. There involves Negative Marking of ¼ (One-fourth 0r 0.25) for each Incorrect Answers in the Answer Sheet.

The Personal Interviews carries 50 Marks. Category-wise and Community-based Stipulated Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by the Candidates in the Personal interview are Un-Reserved Category and other Candidates other than SCs/STs: 50% (25 Marks) and 45% Marks (i.e. 22.50) for SC/ST Candidates.

Eligibility Criteria (As On 01.07.2022)

Age Limit: The Applicant should have attained Minimum 21 Years and must not exceed 35 Years. Community-wise Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits Applicable mentioned in PNB’s Recruitment Notification 2022.

1) Fire Safety Officer (FSO) in JMG Scale-I: 23 Vacancies

Pay Scale: Rs.36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840

2) Manager Security in MMG Scale-II: 80 Vacancies

Pay Scale: Rs.48170-1740/1-49910- 1990/10-69810

1) Fire Safety Officer (FSO) in JMG Scale-I

Education: The Applicant should have in possession the following:

01. Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) from the National Fire Service College (NFSC) Nagpur. Or

02. Four-Years’ Bachelor/Graduation Degree (B.Tech/B.Engg or Equivalent) in Fire Technology/Fire Engineering/Safety and Fire Engineering from the College/University approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/University Grants Commission. Or

03. Bachelor’s Degree from any University duly recognized by the AICTE or UGC. And Divisional Officer Course from the National Fire Service College, Nagpur. Or

04. Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/University Grants Commission. And

Having Bachelor’s Degree/Graduate from the Institute of Fire Engineers India (IFEI)/Institute of Fire Engineering (IFE)-UK. Or

05. Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by the AICTE/UGC. And Sub-Officer Course/Station Officer Course from the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur with Minimum 60% Marks in Aggregate.

Post-Qualification Experience:

In respect of Serial Nos. 1, 2 & 3 Composite Experience of 01 Year in the capacity of a Fire Officer Or Equivalent Post in the Public Sector Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Central Government/State Government/City Fire Brigade/State Fire Services/ Fire safety Incharge in Corporate/Big Industrial Complex.

AND in the case of Serial Nos. 4 & 5 03 Years’ Composite Experience in the capacity of Fire Officer Or Equivalent in the Public Sector Undertakings/Public Sector Banks/Central Government/State Government/City Fire Brigade/State Fire Services/ Fire safety Incharge in Corporate/Big Industrial Complex.

Essential Skills: The Applicant should be well-versed with fire Safety Norms & Regulations, having intimate Knowledge of Fire Prevention and Protection Systems in High- Rise Buildings, Proficiency in English, Hindi and Basic Computer Knowledge is required.

2) Manager Security in MMG Scale-II

Education: The Applicant should be holding Bachelor’s Degree from any University duly recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)/University Grants Commission (UGC)

Post-Qualification Experience: The Applicant should have rendered 5 years’ Commissioned Service an Officer in the Indian Army (IA)/Indian Navy (IN)/Indian Air Force (IAF) Or He should be holding A Gazetted Police Officer Not Below the Rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) or Assistant Commandant (AC) Or Equivalent Rank in the Central Armed Police Forces(CAPF) with Minimum 05 Years’ Service.

Application Fee/Intimation/Postal Charges:

i) The Candidates belonging to Un-Reserved Category: Rs.1003=Rs. 850 Plus GST@18% Rs. 153

ii) The Candidates under ESM/CO/ECO/Children Family Members of those who died/were killed in 1984 Riots: Rs.1003=Rs. 850 Plus GST@18% Rs. 153

iii) SC/ST/PwBD Community Category Candidates: Rs.59=Rs. 50 Plus GST@18% Rs. 09 (i.e., Only Intimation Charges.

Mode of Payment Remittance: Payment to be remitted in to PNB Account No. 9762002200000415 through IFSC Code PUNB0976200.

Selection Process: Punjab National Bank/The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection/Any other Agency, depending on the total number of Applications received, at their discretion, shall stipulate the Mode of Selection under the Fire Safety Officers and Security Managers Project 2022-23.
