PNB Recruitment 2022: The Human Resource Department, Head Office, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has called in Applications from Retired/Retiring Officers of the Indian Army/ Indian Air Force/Indian Navy from the Personnel duly meeting Eligibility for Empanelment as Senior Defence Banking Advisor (SDBA) and Defence Banking Advisor (DBA) on Contractual Basis as has been notified by PNB Recruitment 2022 Advertisement.
Therefore, among the Intending Eligible Persons, who deem to have fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria as mentioned in the PNB Recruitment 2022 may apply Online before 23rd December 2022, the Last Date for completing the Online Application Process.
Note: Those having Honorably Retired/ are going to retire within 03 (Three) Months hence from the Date of PNB Recruitment 2022 Advertisement i.e. On or Before 06.03.2023 with Satisfactory Service Record, are also Eligible to be considered for Empanelment as Senior Defence Banking Advisor and Defence Banking Advisor for Absorption on the Contractual Basis.

Compensation Package under PNB Recruitment 2022
Senior Defence Banking Advisor: The Fixed Annual Compensation Package is stipulated at Rs.15.60 Lac.
Defence Banking Advisor: The Fixed Annual Compensation Package is stipulated at Rs.14.40 Lac.
The Eligible Candidates should fulfil the Eligibility Conditions as follows:
Maximum Age (As on 01.07.2022)
01) Retiring/Retired Officers aged lesser than 60 Years.
02) Retiring/Retired Officers aged lesser than 58 Years.
Empanelment of Retired/Retiring Officers of the Indian Army, Indian Air Force And Indian Navy for the Post of Senior Defence Banking Advisor (SDBA) and Defence Banking Advisor (DBA) On a Contractual Basis
Applicants who have rendered Service to the Indian Air Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy holding Higher Ranks other than the mentioned Last Cadre {Senior Defence Banking Advisor (SDBA) and Defence Banking Advisor (DBA)} remain Ineligible for the Position.
Also, Note that the Highest Decided Rank for the position of Senior Defence Banking Advisor (SDBA) and Defence Banking Advisor (DBA) are Brigadier Or Equivalent and Selection Grade Colonel/ Equivalent respectively.
Any Officer who is undergoing Investigation or has faced a Major Penalty/Proved Guilty in any Departmental or Judicial Enquiry in an Individual’s Entire Service Career is not Eligible for consideration.
The Human Resource Department shall carry out a Screening Process aimed at shortlisting and Eligible Meritorious Candidates. Such Shortlisted Candidates only shall be called for Personal Interviews and Record Verification.
The Names of the Shortlisted Candidates deemed to be Eligible for being screened through Viva-voce shall be placed on the PNB Website.
1) Shortlisting of Meritorious Candidates for Interviews will be strictly based on the Profile.
2) Final Selection for the Senior Defence Banking Advisor and Defence Banking Advisor Posts will be on the basis of Performance in the Interview. The Officers retiring within the upcoming 03 Months (On or Before 06.03.2023) from the PNB Recruitment 2022 Notification from Defence services may also be shortlisted but they shall be assigned their Assignment only after their Retirement.
Contractual Tenure under PNB Recruitment 2022
The Term of Office of the Holder of any of the abovementioned Post shall be initially for 01 (One) Year and will be further reviewed on an annual basis subject to the condition of Sound Health and Performance of Defence Advisor (SDBA/ DBA).
The Term of Engagement will Automatically expire Permanently on attaining Total of 05 Years of engagement or 65 Years of Age, whichever is earlier.
