POSTPONE CA EXAMS 2024: Open Letter to PM for postponing CA Exams May 2024 to June 2024

From a few days, a tussle has been going on between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and CA Students for the postponement of the CA Exams in May 2024, that clash with the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

It is a request of CA Students from all over India that the CA Exams in May 2024 should be postponed to June 2024. This will not only help the students to exercise their fundamental right, which is the “Right to Vote”, but will also give the students the atmosphere to prepare for exams comfortably and peacefully as a lot of loud campaigning is going on during elections due to which there is a lot of noise.

Many Chartered Accountants have also come out for supporting CA Students. CA Aarchana Yadav, today wrote a letter to our respected Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi requesting the postponement of CA Exams to June 2024.

Tagging Mr. Narendra Modi and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India She Wrote on her Twitter handle: Dear @narendramodi Sir, writing a letter to you with final hope that exams at @theicai will be postponed to June 2024. CA Students running pillar to post for this, but no support or help. All requests falling on deaf ears.

Recently, The India Wide Parents’ Association has written to the Chief Election Commissioner, expressing worry about upcoming exams coinciding with Lok Sabha election dates. They have requested the poll body to work with authorities to guarantee that entrance and exams for state and central universities be held following the elections. Besides all this there is ongoing protests of CA Students on various Social media platforms like Twitter, demanding the postponement of the Chartered Accountancy Examinations 2024.
