PPSC Recruitment 2022: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has sought Applications from Candidates meeting the Eligibility in reference to Recruitment to the Agriculture Development Officer (Group A) Posts in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Punjab.
In view of the PPSC Recruitment 2022,200 Vacancies to be filled with Agriculture Development Officer (Group A) in the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, those who deem to have fulfilled the Eligibility prescribed for the Agriculture Development Officer Post in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW), may apply Online. The Last Date for the Eligible Candidates to complete the Online Application Process shall terminate on 29th December 2022 (29.12.2022).
Among the Candidates Eligible and Intending to be Applicants for the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) Posts duly fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria including Basic Criteria including Educational Qualification(s) prescribed for the notified Post(s) may apply with their respective Scanned Signature, Photograph and Self-attested Testimonials to be uploaded and the requisite Examination Fee to be paid as per the instructions explained in the Appended PPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification.
Punjab Public Service Commission shall carry through the Selection Process in 02 Stages; viz., Stage 1: Computer-Based Recruitment Test comprising a Written Competitive Examination and Stage 2: Interview.
The Written Competitive Examination will comprise 120 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Maximum 480 Marks. The Interview carries Maximum 60 Marks.
The Punjab Public Service Commission will conduct an OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Competitive Examination for the Candidates. 02 Hours duration OMR Response Sheet specific Competitive Written Examination containing 120 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective involves Negative Marking of 01 Mark for Incorrect Responses or Multiple Answers for any Objective-Type MCQ. ‘0’ Mark will be dispensed for any Un-attempted Multiple Choice Question.
The Written Competitive Examination shall have the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type based on 03/04 Sections; viz., I) General Knowledge and Current Affairs, B) Logical Reasoning, C) Mental Ability and D) Quantitative Aptitude.
The Competitive Written Examination is Pen and Paper-Based (PPB), to be answered on the Specially Designed Machine Gradable OMR Answer Sheet using Ball Point Pen (BPP).
Merit Criterion: The Punjab Public Service Commission will draw up a Common Merit List based on the Aggregate Scores secured both in the Written Competitive Examination and Interview.

Education Qualification (As on 29.12.2022)
The Candidate should have in possession a Bachelor’s Degree; i.e., B.Sc. (Agriculture)with Minimum 60% Marks from any duly recognized University or Equivalent Institution.
Preference: The Punjab Public Service Commission shall attach Preference to any Person, who may have a Higher Degree; i.e., M.Sc.(Agriculture) from any recognized University or Institution.
Requisite: Should have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a Regional Dialect or its Equivalent Standard.
