Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023: The Head of Office, All India Radio (AIR) (Thiruvananthapuram), Prasar Bharati, Government of India has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Engagement of Part Time Correspondent (PTC) on Part-Time Contractual Basis (in District Iduki) as per Revised Scheme for Engagement of Part-Time Correspondents through the Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 27.04.2023. As has been mentioned in the Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there is 01 Vacancy with a Consolidated Monthly Remuneration to be filled up Initially on 03 Months’ Contractual Duration, which is Extendable up to the Incumbent attaining 60 Years subject to Satisfactory Performance and Conduct to the Expectation of the Regional News Unit (RNU).

According to the Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Part-Time Correspondent, so selected, shall be entitled to the Monthly Remuneration as follows:
Monthly Remuneration: The Maximum Limit of Rs. 9250 (Rupees Nine Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty) only including Conveyance and Communication Charges Per Month.
Based on the Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit As on the Last Date/Closing Day of Application.
Age Limit: Minimum 24 Years and Maximum 45 Years.
Based on the Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility comprising Mandatory and Desirable Knowledge Skills and Desirable Commuting Distance up to the Office and down to Residence the same may be made out as explained hereunder:
Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduate Diploma/Degree in Journalism/Mass Media or Graduate with Minimum 02 Years’ Journalistic Experience.*
Desirable: Should be residing at the respective District Headquarters or within a Radius of 10 Kilometre from the District Head Quarters/Municipal Limit in the District for which he/she is being engaged.
Mandatory Knowledge of Computers and Word Processing. And Possession of News Gathering Devices.
The Selection Process for Part-Time Correspondent will involve an Interview. The Candidates on the basis of the Educational and Professional Qualifications, Professional Experience, Knowledge about the District and State, Current Affairs, Awareness of Welfare Schemes of the Central Government, Acquaintance with Radio News, Journalistic Aptitude, Writing Skills, Familiarization with Communication Technologies, etc., shall be shortlisted for appearing in Interview Process.
Post Selection as Part-Time Correspondent, the Individual will be engaged initially for 03 Months, which is Extendable up to 60 Years subject to the Individual Work Performance and Conduct found to be Satisfactory to be judged by the RNU Head.
