RPSC Recruitment 2023: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has sought Online Applications from the Office Personnel with Eligible for 02 Posts; viz., Exploration & Excavation Officer And Curator Posts in the Archaeology and Museums Department vide the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement 04/2023-24 Dated 21.07.2023. The RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for both Notified Posts 01) Exploration & Excavation Officer And 02) Curator Posts has occurred with 10 Vacancies to be filled up in the Archaeology and Museums Department through the Archaeology and Museums Departmental Exam-2023. Both RPSC Posts Exploration & Excavation Officer And Curator shall be filled up in Pay Matrix Level 14 and Pay Scale Level 12 respectively. Based on the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notice Exploration & Excavation Officer Post will be filled up under Pay Matrix Level 14 (Grade Pay Rs.5400) and Curator Post in Pay Matrix Level 12 (Grade Pay Rs.4800) by way of Archaeology and Museums Departmental Examination-2023 to be held by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. As per the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Online Application Process is already in progress. Accordingly the Last Date for Online Application and Registration shall terminate/close on 25.08.2023 for the Applicants.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission notified Archaeology and Museums Departmental Examination-2023 for Selection on Exploration & Excavation Officer And Curator Posts will comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Based Question Papers. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission notified Archaeology and Museums Departmental Examination-2023 for 2½ Hours’ Duration contains Part A and Part B with 150 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type. The Archaeology and Museums Departmental Examination-2023 will carry 150 Marks with a Negative Marking of 1/3rd (0.33) Mark for each Wrong Answer/Multiple Responses for every Objective-Type Multiple Choice Question.

Based on the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Monthly Pay Scale stipulated for the Posts notified therein to post-Selection shall accrue to the Officers narrated hereunder:
01: Exploration & Excavation Officer Post:
Pay Matrix Level 14 (Grade Pay Rs.5400)
02: Curator Post:
Pay Matrix Level 12 (Grade Pay Rs.4800)
Based on the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Age Limits stipulated/fixed for Un-Reserved Category Personnel Applicants for the Opted Posts notified thereby as on 01.01.2024 in respect of General Category Candidates should be read hereunder:
Age Limits:
I) Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 40 Years.
II) Upper Age Limits Relaxations for Reserved Community Candidates are as per Government Rules.

Educational Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree in History with Papers in Ancient History, With
Experience in the field of Archaeology for Minimum 01 (One) Season Not lesser than 02 Months.
02: Curator Post:
Educational Qualification: IInd Class Master’s Degree with Minimum 55% Marks in Master’s Degree in Ancient Or Medieval Indian History/M.A. Museology (With 01 Subject History at Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation Level) Or Equivalent thereof.
Note: The Candidates having appeared in the Final Year Examination Or set to appear therein may also apply.
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission notified Archaeology and Museums Department Examination-2023 for Selection on Exploration & Excavation Officer And Curator Posts will comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Based Question Papers. Part A: 40 Objective-Type MCQs for 40 Marks

The Selection Procedure to be carried through RPSC Archaeology and Museums Department Examination 2023 for 01)Exploration & Excavation Officer And 02) Curator Post is aimed at preparing the Final Merit List.
Based on the RPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Examination Fee shall have to be borne by the Candidates, as follows:
I) Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Rs. 600.00
II) Other Backward Community (NCL) Candidates/Extremely Backward Classes (CL): Rs. 600.00
III) Reserved Community (NCL) Candidates/Economically Weaker Section/Saharia Region Classes: Rs. 400.00
