In November 2022, the total GST revenue received was Rs. 1,45,867 crore, of which the CGST portion was Rs. 25,681 crore, the SGST portion was Rs. 32,651 crore, the IGST portion was Rs. 77,103 crore (including Rs. 38,635 crore collected on import of goods), and the Cess portion was Rs. 10,433 crore (including Rs. 817 crore collected on import of goods)
The government made a normal settlement of Rs. 33,997 crore to CGST and Rs. 28,538 crore to SGST from IGST. After monthly payments in the month of November 2022, the combined income for the Centre and the States is Rs. 59678 crore for the CGST and Rs. 61189 crore for the SGST. Additionally, in November 2022, the Centre gave Rs. 17,000 crore to States and UTs as GST compensation.
The GST revenues for November 2022, which were itself Rs. 1,31,526 crore, are 11% more than the GST income for the same month last year. When compared to the same month last year, the income from domestic transactions, which includes the import of services, was 8% higher during the month and the income from imported commodities was 20% higher.
