Young Professional (General Administration):

To be eligible for the Young Professional (General Administration) position, candidates must have a post-graduation degree in any discipline or a professional degree such as BE/B.Tech or 2 years PGDM or MBBS or LLB or CA, or any other professional degree after 4 years or more after 10+2. Candidates with an MBA or post-graduate diploma (2 years) with a specialization in Sports Management from a recognized university will be preferred. They must have a minimum of 03 years of experience (in a relevant field as mentioned in the JD) after attaining a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/institution, or a minimum of 01 year of experience (in a relevant field as mentioned in the JD) after attaining a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution/university. Experience in any government/semi-government/autonomous/PSU in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Young Professional (Project & Admin):

To be eligible for the Young Professional (Project & Admin) position, candidates must have a post-graduation degree in any discipline or a professional degree such as BE/B. Tech or 2 years PGDM or MBBS or LLB or CA, or any other professional degree after 4 years or more after 10+2. Candidates with an MBA or post-graduate diploma (2 years) with a specialization in Sports Management from a recognized university will be preferred. Experience will only be counted if it is acquired after the completion of essential qualifications. The period of Ph.D./research/fellowship will not be counted as experience.

Selection Process for SAI Recruitment 2023:

As per SAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the shortlisting of candidates for the interview will be done in the ratio of 1:5 based on the following evaluation criteria with a total of 100 marks:

1. Essential Qualification (30 marks):

• Greater or equal to 60% – 30 marks
• 50% – 60% – 20 marks
• 45% – 50% – 10 marks
• Less than 45%. – 0 marks

2. Work experience (35 marks):

• For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree as EQ:
  • Greater than 5 years – 35 marks
  • 4-5 years – 25 marks
  • 3-4 years – 15 marks
• For candidates with a Master’s degree as EQ:
  • Greater than 3 years – 35 marks
  • 2-3 years – 25 marks
  • 1-2 years – 15 marks

3. Work experience in Sports Sector (25 marks):

• For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree as EQ:
  • Greater than 3 years – 25 marks
  • 2-3 years – 15 marks
  • 1-2 years – 5 marks
• For candidates with a Master’s degree as EQ:
  • Greater than 2 years – 25 marks
  • 1-2 years – 15 marks
  • 6 months to 1 year – 5 marks

4. Work experience in any government/ Semi Govt. / Autonomous / PSU in a relevant field as mentioned in JD (10 Marks):

• Greater than 2 years – 10 marks
• 1-2 years – 5 marks

Note: If a candidate is working in Sports Sector and/or in the government sector as specified in criterion 4, he/she will be eligible for weightage in criteria 2, 3, and 4 depending on the number of years of experience.

Age Limit and Salary for SAI Recruitment 2023:

As per SAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for both the positions of Young Professional (General Management) and Young Professional (Project & Admin) is 32 years.

The consolidated monthly salary for both positions is Rs.50,000/-.

Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to OBC, SC, and ST categories as per the norms mentioned in the following orders: a) Proof of Age – OM No. 19017/7/79-Estt(A) dated 30.11.1979. b) Caste certificate – SC/ST/ OBC – OM No. 36012/6/88-Estt(SCT) dated 24.04.1990, OM No.36011/1/2012-Estt(Res) dated 14.03.2016, OM No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res-I) dated 31.03.2016.
