SAIL Recruitment 2023: Rourkela Steel Plant, under the Steel Authority of India (SAIL) seeks applications from experienced and professional candidates to employ the post of Doctors (Specialist / GDMO) for its Hospitals at Rourkela and at different Mines under the Odisha Group of Mines (OGoM) on contractual basis. According to the SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the engagement of available contact would be for a term of 01 (one) year, which might be extended for another period of 01 (one) year. The maximum term of employment under the same contract, however, would not exceed three years. The duration of the engagement is subject to a 70-year age restriction. Candidates will be recruited for 10 vacancies. However, requisite numbers of posts are to be reserved as per Presidential Directives or Government guidelines. The performance of hired doctors will be evaluated, and depending on how well they do, their tenure may be limited or extended. The shortlisted candidates would be paid a monthly salary of up to Rs.1,60,000.

He/she must have an MBBS degree from a university or institute recognised by the Medical Council of India with a minimum 01-year post qualification experience in the required disciplines. The engagement is solely on a “contractual basis” and should not be considered as granting any kind of regular appointment entitlement. Applications with demanded certifications and papers, both in their original forms and with sets of self-attested photocopies, must be brought to the interview by eligible candidates at New Conference Hall, ISPAT General Hospital, Sector-19, Rourkela – 769005 (Odisha). A candidate will not be permitted to the interview if they cannot provide the certificates or papers in original form proving their eligibility on the scheduled interview time (12/08/2023 for Specialist / GDMO for Hospitals at Rourkela and 23/08/2023 for GDMO under Odisha Group of Mines). The candidates are requested to present documents including one recent passport-size colour photograph, Proof of Date of Birth, Certificates & Mark sheets, Caste/Category certificate (where applicable), Experience Certificate, NOC from present employer (if any), etc. The ex-employees of SAIL and other PSU/Government employees are also allowed to apply, with the exception of those who opted for Voluntary Retirement/ Resignation.
