For OCT (Trainee) (Mechanical)-

• The candidates should have Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government recognized university/ institute.

For OCT (Trainee) (Instrumentation)-

• The candidates should have a Matriculation with 03 year (full-time) Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Electronics/ Instrumentation and Control / Instrumentation and Automation Engineering from Government recognized university/ institute.

Tenure for SAIL Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidates of SAIL Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a training period of 2 (two) years, which can be extended for a further period of 2 years, as per requirement.

Salary for SAIL Recruitment 2024:

As per the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates will get a salary during the training period, they will be paid a consolidated pay of Rs.16100 for the 1st year and Rs.18300 or the 2nd year of training. In accordance with corporate policies, they will also be eligible for free medical care, leave, etc.

• The selected candidates will be given consideration for regular employment in the S-3 grade, with a pay scale of Rs. 26600-3%-38920 (S-3), upon satisfactory completion of their training.
• CTC at a minimum scale of pay on regularisation in S-3 grade will be Rs.10.4 Lakh (approx) per annum (excluding location-based allowances, category-specific allowances, etc.)

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2024:
