Aramco benefits from inflation and tight supply

"You can't compare Apple to Saudi Aramco in terms of business or fundamentals, but the commodity space's outlook has improved," said James Meyer, chief investment officer at Tower Bridge Advisors. Inflation and scarcity have benefitted this sector. When compared to 2020, Aramco's net profit increased by 124% to $110.0 billion in 2021. It was $ 49.0 billion in 2020.

S&P 500 Energy Sector Up 40%

Because of a rise in Brent crude oil prices, the S&P 500 energy sector is up 40% this year. Brent crude, which was trading at $78 per barrel at the start of the year, has risen to $108. Occidental Petroleum Corp. is one of the S&P 500's best-performing stocks this year. It has increased by more than a hundred percent. Its price was near to $ 31 at the start of this year, but it has now surpassed $ 60.
