SBI Recruitment 2023: State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) on regular and contractual bases. Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the SCO posts online through the SBI website from 29th April 2023 to 19th May 2023. As per SBI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment process will include an online test tentatively scheduled for June 2023, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The call letter for the online test will be available to download from the website ten days before the exam. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the desired position and upload all required documents, such as age proof, educational qualifications, and experience certificates, as failing to do so may result in their disqualification from the recruitment process.
As per SBI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the available positions include regular and contractual vacancies for Manager (Development Lead), Manager (Infra Architect), Deputy Manager (Database Administrator), Deputy Manager (IT Treasury), and various other Deputy Manager positions in different departments. All positions require candidates to have a BE/BTech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communications, or an equivalent degree in relevant disciplines or an MCA or MTech/MSc in Computer Science, IT, Electronic & Communications Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. As per SBI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scales for regular positions range from Rs. 36,000 to Rs. 63,840 for JMGS-I, Rs. 48,170 to Rs. 69,810 for MMGS-II, and Rs. 63,840 to Rs. 78,230 for MMGS-III. Officers engaged on a regular basis will also receive DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund (NPS), LFC, Medical Facility, and other perks as per the bank’s salary structure.
For contractual positions, the remuneration payable over a period of 4 years ranges from Rs. 28.00 lacs to Rs. 31.00 Lacs for posts 34 to 44, Rs. 23.00 lacs to Rs. 26.00 Lacs for post 45, and Rs. 19.00 lacs to Rs. 22.00 Lacs for posts 46 to 52. Contractual officers will receive performance-based variable pay up to 10% of their CTC based on annual appraisal reports, in addition to their CTC. However, there is no provision for annual increments during the period of the contract.
The approximate total compensation for MMGS-III is Rs. 24.00 Lacs, MMGS-II is Rs.19.00 Lacs, and JMGS-I is Rs.15.00 Lacs. The provided information suggests that the bank offers competitive salaries and benefits to its employees, both for regular and contractual positions.
As per SBI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for the regular positions of JMGS-I/MMGS-II varies based on the post applied for. For Posts SR. No 3 to 33, the selection process is based on an online written test and an interview. The online test is tentatively scheduled for June 2023 and will be conducted in various centers across India. The test will consist of general aptitude, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and English language, and a professional knowledge section. To be eligible for the interview, the candidate must score equal to or above the cut-off marks in the professional knowledge section and achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the other sections. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s ranking in descending order of merit, in each category.
For Posts SR. No 1, 2 & 34 to 52, the selection process is based on shortlisting and an interview. The shortlisting committee, constituted by the Bank, decides the shortlisting parameters and then calls an adequate number of candidates for the interview. The decision of the bank to call candidates for the interview is final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The merit list for selection is prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks, they will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit list. The qualifying marks for the interview are decided by the Bank, and the interview carries a weightage of 100 marks.
