SEBI ordered Attachment of Bank and Demat Account of Alchemist Capital and others for Recovery proceedings of Rs. 101 Crore The Securities Exchange Board of India ordered Attachment of Bank Account and Demat Account of Alchemist Capital Limited jointly and severally, [Defaulters] in the matter of Alchemist Capital Limited. under Recovery Certificate No. 4348 of 2021 Notice of Attachment of Bank Accounts and Demat Accounts 7752 & 7753 dated December 07, 2021 against Alchemist Capital Limited (PAN: AABCT5925F), Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (PAN: AKKPA7873P), Mr. Hariharan Veeraraghavan (PAN: ABQPV9123N), Mr. Harjit Singh (PAN: ADLPS4992B), Mr. Sandeep Sethi (PAN: AQBPS6934N), Mr. Brij Mohan Mahajan (PAN: AAWPM1136F), Mr. Sunil Kanti Kar (PAN: AEQPK2126K), Mr. Virendra Singh (PAN: AIJPS8703K), Mr. Kanwar Deep Singh (PAN: ACCPS3258G), Mr. R. P. Chhabra (PAN: ADOPC4099E), Mr. Ravinder Singh(PAN: ALHPS5680C), and Mr. Subramanian Ayyappakutty Nambi (PAN: N/A), jointly and severally, [Defaulters] in the matter of Alchemist Capital Limited. under Recovery Certificate No. 4348 of 2021 has been issued by SEBI. Whereas a Recovery Certificate No. 4348 of 2021 dated December 07, 2021 has been drawn up by the Recovery Officer in the above proceedings for recovery of a sum of Rs. 1,01,67 ,33,300/- (Rupees One Hundred One Crores Sixty Seven Lakh Thirty Three Thousand Three Hundred) along with returns due to investors, further interest, all costs, charges and expenses incurred in respect of all the proceedings taken for recovery of the said sum as detailed below, against Alchemist Capital Limited (PAN: AABCT5925F), Mr. Mansoor Ahmed (PAN: AKKPA7873P), Mr. Hariharan Veeraraghavan (PAN: ABQPV9123N), Mr. Harjit Singh (PAN: ADLPS4992B), Mr. Sandeep Sethi (PAN: AQBPS6934N), Mr. Brij Mohan Mahajan (PAN: AAWPM1136F), Mr. Sunil Kanti Kar (PAN:AEQPK2126K), Mr. Virendra Singh (PAN: AIJPS8703K), Mr. Kanwar Deep Singh (PAN:ACCPS3258G), Mr. R. P. Chhabra (PAN: ADOPC4099E), Mr. Ravinder Singh(PAN:ALHPS5680C),and Mr. Subramanian Ayyappakutty Nambi (PAN: N/A), jointly and severally, [Defaulters]. A Notice of Demand dated December 07, 2021 has been issued to the above named. In accordance with SEBI order no. WTM/PS/32/IMD/NRO/AUG/2015 dated August 03, 2015, the defaulter(s) have already been granted sufficient time to refund the money owed to its investors. However, the defaulter(s) have shown no willingness to follow the instructions. To protect the interests of investors, I now order, in the exercise of the authority vested in me, to attach the following with immediate effect:

a) All account/s, by whatever name called, held with your bank by the Defaulter(s), either singly or jointly with any other person/s; and

b) Any additional amount/proceeds owed or that may become owed to the defaulter(s), as well as any money held or that may hereafter be held for or on behalf of the defaulter (s).

It is further directed that no debits be made in the aforementioned account/s pending further orders from the SEBI Recovery Officer. However, credits into the account, if any, may be permitted. You are hereby directed to provide the following to the undersigned immediately/within 15 days of receipt of this Notice:

a) A list of all the accounts, including Lockers, that the defaulter(s) have with your bank;

a) A copy of the Ale Statement/s for the previous year for all A/cs;

c) Confirmation of the Attachment of the aforementioned Account/s;

d) Complete data of all loan/advances accounts, as well as the assets charged for the aforementioned loans/advances.

This Notice of Attachment is given in accordance with the authority granted under Sections 28A(1)(b), 11(2)(ia) of the SEBI Act, 1992, and Sections 226 and the Second Schedule of the Income Tax Act, 1961. To Read the Order Notice Download PDF Given Below :
